What are some actions that a person with chronic insomnia might have?
Sleep hygiene is so important -
Make sure the only thing you do in your bed is sleep
Don"t eat at least 3 hours before bedtime
Don't exercise too close to bedtime; do exercise daily
No caffeine in any beverage after noon.
Create a quiet sleep encouraging bedroom with soft lighting, scented candles, soft music
NO TV IN BED - EVER
A warm bath before bedtime sometimes helps
