CAUTION when driving while tired!

I Panic to remain awake in the half conscious state when I start falling into sleep

Why at the point my body takes over to move me into sleep I sometimes fight to stay awake as i sense loosing control of my muscles as they're twitching as I take breaths and fight to keep consciousness all when Im in a half conscious state just before I go into sleep mode.
