how can I find a doctor?

How do I find a sleep dr. do they go by a specific name? do I go to my regular pharmisist and have them refer me?  I don't want to be on medication I want a Dr, so that I can understand what going on with me and explain to me what effects can not getting enough sleep have on your mind and body
