New insomnia med moves closer to approval

The new insomnia medication Sublinox has been accepted for final review by the Food and Drug Administration. Manufacturer Orexo says the medication may be approved for sale sometime in 2009. A recent study showed that participants who took Sublinox fell asleep 30 percent sooner compared to participants who took Ambien. Read more »
