Training sessions increase use of CPAP machines

Researchers have found that two training sessions about the benefits of a breathing machine significantly increased use among people with sleep apnea. Patients have resisted using the continuous positive airway pressure machines because wearing the device can be uncomfortable. The sessions were designed to explain the risks of sleep apnea as well as the benefits of using the breathing machine. Read more »
