Study: Ritalin does not cause sleep problems

A new study of 282 children shows that ritalin taken in patch or pill form does not cause sleep problems. After five weeks, researchers found that there was no significant difference in the severity of sleep problems between the patients taking ritalin and patients taking a placebo. Sleep disruptions are often reported as a side effect of the attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder medication. Read more »
