Drugs To Treat Restless Leg Syndrome

Study: Restless leg meds slowly stop working

A new analysis suggests that people stop taking medications for restless leg syndrome because the drugs have unpleasant side effects and stop working over time. Researchers reviewed the results of 14 trials of three drugs commonly used to treat restless leg syndrome, Mirapex, Requip, and Neupro. They found that the medications worked best when a person first started taking them and then lost effectiveness. They also found that Mirapex had the fewest side effects. Read more »
