A generic version of Requip for the treatment of restless leg syndrome will soon be available. The Food and Drug Administration gave permission to four companies to manufacture ropinirole hydrochloride in 0.25 mg, 0.5 mg, 1 mg, 2 mg, 3 mg, and 4 mg doses.
