Sleep deprivation can identify sleepwalkers

A small study suggests that sleep deprivation can help diagnose sleepwalking. In a study of 40 people who were thought to be sleepwalkers, researchers observed the participants during a normal night's sleep and then during recovery sleep after they had been awake for 24 hours. Fifty percent of the group had a sleepwalking episode the first night, compared to 90 percent during the second night. Read more »
