Rem Sleep Behavior Disorder

A sleep disorder where sleepers have violent dreams--often acted
out while sleeping--has been linked to antidepressant use. REM
Sleep Behavior Disorder (RBD) usually occurs in people in their
50s, but doctors are seeing RBD cases in younger patients who take
antidepressants. Researchers think the drugs may interfere with
neurotransmitters that keep muscles paralyzed during REM sleep,
allowing patients to act out their dreams.
