Signs Of Sleeping Disorders

Seniors should talk to doctor about extended sleep troubles

A geriatric specialist says that older adults who have trouble sleeping for more than two weeks should discuss the issue with a doctor. The doctor says that common signs of a sleep disorder include: excessive snoring; frequent waking; morning headaches; being tired but having trouble falling asleep; loss of appetite; and not feeling rested in the morning. He suggests exercising several times a week and avoiding long naps to improve overall sleep quality. Read more »
