Researchers have found that warm, humidified air delivered through
a plastic tube inserted in the nose can reduce the symptoms of
sleep apnea.The nose replaces the mask of the continuous positive
airway pressure machine. All 11 people in the study had fewer sleep
apnea symptoms when using this device.
