Studies have linked sleep apnea with developmental and behavioral
problems. Researchers found removing a child's tonsils and adenoids
improved sleep and breathing, but did not help behavioral or
developmental problems. Doctors say kids should get the surgery,
but they tell parents not to expect behavior improvements.
