Mental decline may predict sleep trouble for older women

Researchers have found that women who develop memory problems over a period of 13 to 15 years may be more likely to have fitful sleep. Diseases such as Alzheimer's may affect areas of the brain that control sleep, researchers suggest. A researcher involved in the study cautioned that sleep patterns in participants were measured only once, so the conclusions are still preliminary. Read more »
