What Are Symptoms Of Sleep Apnea

An Australian study found that upper-airway surgery did not help to
ease the symptoms of sleep apnea. A review of 48 studies showed
that 62 percent of patients who had undergone surgery for
obstructive sleep apnea had difficulty swallowing, voice changes,
smell and taste disturbances, and dry throat. Researchers said that
people with apnea should lose weight and use a CPAP machine instead
of having surgery.
