Impotence, irritability, fatigue may be signs of "male menopause"

A recent study has found that as many as one in five men could be suffering from a health condition known as "male menopause." The technical name for the condition is andropause, and like menopause it is caused by a decline in the sex hormones, including testosterone. This decline can lead to a low sex drive, irritability, weight gain, sweating, and fatigue. Experts say that most men do not need hormone replacement therapy for their symptoms, since unlike female menopause the decreasing hormone levels lessen over time.
