Napping May Affect Diabetes Risk

Older adults who nap during the day or who don't get much sleep are at increased risk for diabetes, a new study has found. Researchers studied 174,542 people and found that those who slept for an hour in the daytime were at higher risk of diabetes than those who did not nap. People who napped for more than two hours had an even higher risk. Experts say obesity may play a part in the link.
