'Sexsomnia' Sleep Disorder More Common Than Believed

A sleep disorder called sexsomnia may be more common than previously believed, researchers say. The disorder causes people to initiate sex in their sleep. A study of patients with sleep problems found that 11 percent of men exhibited sexsomnia signs, while 4 percent of women had the disorder. Overall, people who admitted to using illicit drugs were twice as likely to have the condition as other insomnia patients.
