Mood 24/7: New Look, Same Great Service

Submitted by on January 18, 2011 – 12:23 pm5 Comments

The New Mood 24/7I’m very excited to announce that we’ve redesigned the look and feel of Mood 24/7. If you haven’t been on the site for a while, you will definitely notice changes the next time you visit. The goal is to make getting to know yourself as easy as possible, and we’ve started by eliminating the need for users to text the word “Mood” before providing a mood rating. That’s right, now you can simply text a numerical mood rating (1-10) back to Mood 24/7 and we’ll chart it just like we always have in the past, along with any notes or annotations provided after the mood rating.

With this change, it should take you longer to reflect on your day than it does to send Mood 24/7 your mood rating.

And we’re not stopping here, either… We have features in development that will continue to close the Web 2.0 and Health 2.0 divide (let’s face it… there’s a gap there) while making the tracking and discovery of individual mood triggers as easy as possible. I think you’re going to like what we have in store for you.

What Is Mood 24/7?

Mood 24/7 was developed by HealthCentral based on technology licensed exclusively from Johns Hopkins University. It is an SMS and web based service that allows people to track their daily moods by text message. Users pick a time of day and are prompted via text-message for a text message response rating their mood on a scale of 1-10. These daily responses are charted privately and securely at the Mood 24/7 web site, www.Mood247.com, where users can access their mood charts to visualize mood triggers and track their mood.

  • Hello. Excellent reading. Looking forward to your next article! :-)

  • You must be really astute at research and writing. This shows up within your original and unique content material. I agree with your primary points on this subject. This content really should be seen by more readers.

I need to say, as a whole lot as I enjoyed reading what you had to say, I couldnt help but lose interest soon after a although. Its as if you had a wonderful grasp on the topic matter, but you forgot to consist of your readers. Perhaps you need to think about this from far more than one angle. Or maybe you shouldnt generalise so considerably. Its better in the event you think about what other people may have to say rather of just going for a gut reaction towards the subject. Consider adjusting your own believed process and giving others who may read this the benefit with the doubt
