as a warning to everyone who is doing damage to their bodies with smoking . . . who could end up having the same results as he is experiencing now. The rest of your post was great. Just don't see the self pity.

wow. your bravery and honesty are inspiring. by posting on a smoking site you add prospective and reality to we formers. it drives home the point that dangers lurk and that to continue to smoke would be disrepectful and ridiculous. i wish you all the luck in the world. never lose your non preachy, slightly ironic sense of humor
