Hey - thanks fo rthis post; could not believe how appropriate this was to me. I recently made the mistake of talking politics with a friend. And because she was a friend, I was really surpised (though in retrospect no so much) at how combative and angry she was at me about what we were discussing So now I know why - she is a true believer and doesn't really have the need to entertain alternative thoughts or philosophies. Which is sad. But simply true. I won't make that mistake again.

Thanks for posting -all the best, sue
