Hi Smiles2144:

Diaphragmatic breathing is something that can be learned and practiced daily. We use it for many problems, but it is especially useful for Anxiety issues. Dr. Jennifer Fee (another Expert) and I have produced CD's that will teach you how to do it in just a few minutes a day. It's also called Abdominal Breathing and is easy to do once you master the basics.  We recommend that you practice it 4 minutes, 4 times a day (that's about how much time you spend watching commercials during a 30-minute TV show!)

Hope this helps!
