Pain is often unavoidable for most in the RA community. When pain does strike, you may sometimes feel your only avenue is to succumb and wallow in self-pity. But, here's a better idea—go for a distraction from the pain. While you may have to push yourself to muster the strength, it will certainly feel better to laugh, than to cry.
