Adderall For Cluster Headaches?

I have been scatterbrained and have a short term memory problem since my craniotony to repair my right temporal artery. It was clipped. The previous year, I had a subarachnoid hemorrhage and had my basilar artery clipped. While in the hospital for the 1st surgery, I developed MRSA in my brain. I was treated at home with vancomysin through a picc line. I used to be a RN, now I sit at home. I would like to go back to work but can't stay organized. One interuption and I forget what i was doing and do something else so that nothing gets completed.

When i clean the house, it actually looks worse from getting into everying and not completing any tasks. Is adderall used for this?

Welcome to MyMigraineConnection!

In the subject of your question you mentioned cluster headaches, and you chose several Migraine tags for your question. But you don't mention Migraines or cluster headaches in the question itself, so I'm a bit confused here.

Adderall is sometimes prescribed for Migraine prevention, not so much for cluster headaches. With what you said about concentration, another medication used for Migraine prevention that you might discuss with your doctor is Namenda, which was originally developed for Alzheimer's disease. You can read more about that in Namenda for Migraine and Chronic Headache Prevention.

I hope this helps. Please don't hesitate to ask any follow-up questions you may have.

Welcome again,
