Can Allergies Cause High Blood Pressure? Not Allergie Medication.

Can allergies cause high blood pressure? I am not talking about the medication to treat them, just the allergies themselves.

Answer

JBD,

I am not a doctor and can't diagnose you over the internet, but like our other community member stated, nearly any stress on the body has the ability to affect your blood pressure. How do you know that your blood pressure is high? Are you experiencing any specific symptoms?

I would recommend keeping a log of your allergy symptoms and blood pressure readings, and if you still are concerned, please see a physician. You can look at the links below to see where your blood pressure rests in terms of your health.

Best of luck,

James
