Can I Take Bactrim If I Am Allergic To Asprin
Bactrim is an antibiotic made out of sulfamethoxazole/trimethoprim while aspirin is a made out of acetylsalicylic acid; two very different substances. I checked a drugs interaction checker and it didn't indicate any interactions between the two.
If you have a sulfa allergy (Bactrim) you could have trouble with some NSAIDS such as Celebrex but not apparently with aspirin. A look around the internet did not indicate any problems between these two drugs but its always best to talk to your pharmacist.
