I just completed my annual physical and everything was just fine except that cholesterol is high. Well by BAD is high and my GOOD is practically non-existance. A friend said it is probably “the beer”. I don’t understand why or how that is possible. Could you please explain???
Sugar and alcohol have a direct impact on triglyceride levels. So, if your triglycerides are elevated then reducing your alcohol intake will help lower your total cholesterol levels. Check out the two posts below to learn more about how to raise HDL (good) cholesterol and lower triglycerides.
