What is considered a good cholesterol level

Hi Phyllis Jay,

Ideally, blood pressure should be less than 120/80. So, you have room for improvement, but you're not doing terrible either. You can learn more about treatment options and lifestyle changes on the high blood pressure site.

As far as cholesterol, total cholesterol should be less than 200 mg/dl, LDL cholesterol less than 130 mg/dl, triglycerides less than 150 mg/dl, and HDL cholesterol greater than 40 mg/dl (ideally greater than 60 mg/dl).
