What Causes a "Pulled Muscle" Pain in your Breast?

I Have Breast Pain That Feels Like A Pulled Muscle. What Could It Be?

I feel almost constant pain in my right breast, like a very sore mass. Does anyone know what this might be?

Breast pain can come from a number of sources. Thankfully, the least likely of these is breast cancer. So please don't worry that this pain is a cancer symptom.

Many women experience pain as a result of fibrocystic change, a condition that's not dangerous, but that can produce pain, breast lumps, soreness, tingling, and other types of discomfort. Sometimes a cyst can grow large enough to cause pain; thankfully, cysts are fairly easily identified via ultrasound.

If you've had this pain for longer than a month, it qualifies as a breast change - and all breast changes should be reported to your doctor for diagnosis and possible treatment. So if necessary, call your doctor. And in the meantime, many women have reported finding relief from unspecified breast pain by removing caffeine from their diet. So if you drink coffee, tea, or cola, or eat a lot of chocolate, you might try cutting back on those.
