Answer

Hi,

It could be Fibromyalgia. FM is generally characterized by widespread pain and increased sensitivity to pain (the muscles that are tender to the touch and the joint pain). Problems sleeping, problems with concentration, fatigue, increased sensitivity to odors, sounds, and light are also common. Do make sure to make an appointment with your physician to explore treatment options.

Health Central has an excellent FM site you might want to check out. FM is a complex illness; if this is your diagnosis, I encourage you to read up about the symptoms and various treatment paths.
