Differance Between Citalopram And Pristiq
Differnts between citalopram and pristiq
Both of these medication are antidepressants and can also be used to treat anxiety.
Citalopram is a SSRI (selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors) which works to increase the amount of serotonin in your brain. Pristiq is a SNRI (selective serotonin and norepinephrine reuptake inhibitor) which works to increase serotonin and norepinephrine in your brain.
Because people react differently to medication, there is no right or wrong medication and unfortunately, it can sometimes be a matter of trial and error to find the one that is best for you.
If you are not happy with how your medication is working, you should speak with your doctor about other options.
