Does Cold Weather Affect A Herniated Disc

i have a herniated disc two in my lumbers i fell that when the winter comes < the pain is increased

Answer

Pain is usually worse in the cold weather for two reasons. First, the cold causes the muscles to become stiff and tense. Second, the cold causes the nerves to become more sensitive. Try to warm up by using hot water, a heating pad or warmer clothing. Dr. Christina Lasich, MD
