Does The Depo Shot Cause Breast Cancer

i'm 18 and i take the depo shot recently 2 lumps have appeared and i'm trying to get information for my personal reassurance however i cannot find an adequate article answering this question can anyone help me?

Studies have found that there is a slightly increased risk of breast cancer when taking Depo Provera shots, especially for women under 35.

Anytime you find a lump in your breast, please see your doctor as soon as possible. Most lumps are not cancer. But if it does turn out to be cancer, the good news is that when it's caught early there is a very good chance that with treatment, you can go on to live a full, healthy life.

I know this isn't the kind of reassurance you were hoping for, but it really is important that you have the lumps checked soon. You're not going to rest easy until you know for sure anyway, so please don't put it off. I do understand how scary it is. I went through the same thing myself just a few months ago. Thankfully, mine turned out fine -; no cancer. I pray you get the same result.
