Does A Resting Pulse Rate Of 105 With Blood Pressure Of 110/78 Seem Strange?

I am taking thyroid and some hormone replacement therapy. And I've recently sustained an injury at work (concussion and neck injury)

Answer

Hi, Lisa,

First of all, let me say that I'm not a medical doctor so I'd encourage you to chat with your own physician. However, based on what I saw on the Mayo Clinic's website, the normal heart rate is between 60 and 100 beats. And normal blood pressure is 120/80, according to the National Institute of Health. So your vitals seem to be pretty much in line.

But the big question is how do you feel? If you feel like something is wrong, please do check with your doctor.

And if you want to drop your pulse rate, you may want to exercise more since the lower rate is tied to cardiovascular fitness.

Take care and stay in touch!
