Is Grapejuice Allergy Common?

my son had a few episodes of hives, itchy welts swollen ears after drinking grapejuice.

the dr's are not convinced it was the grapejuice they think it may even be a virus.

a virus with no other symptoms?

he will soon be challenged with an allergist so we can get the answer.

would his ears turn red and swell up if it were a virus?

hard to know what it is, i hate not having answers.

if he drank the grapejuice saturday afternoon had the reaction, then had another one late that night and one the next morning, can it be the juice?

how long does it stay in your system?

has no other food allergies

he is 16 years old

has allergies to dust, dust mite, pollen, ragweed, molds, cats, dogs

has asthma, croup
