My Hdl Is At 102 And My Ldl Is At 87. What Does It Mean To Have A Chol. Total Of 209?

Hello I am a 35 yaer old woman who eats well and does moderate exercise. My HDL cholesterol is 102 and my LDL level is at 87. My Cholesterol total is 209 and that is considered high... I don't understand I think my numbers are excellent?!

Your total cholesterol being above 209 is likely due to your HDL cholesterol being so high. I recommend discussing a comprehensive lipid profile with your physician to look at your LDL and HDL particle sizes adn determien if there is any reason for concern.
