Hello,i'm Trying To Loose The Last 25lbs I Have.
I workout 6 days a week and am on a 1200 calorie diet. I've been trying to balance my meals and have done pretty well. I know that you can gain or even stay at the same weight for a little while since you are building muscle. I mostly sit at work at a computer after I workout but try to move around when I can. What i'm wondering is if I might be cutting calories to drastically and should maybe try eating back a little of my workout calories? It's been about 5 weeks and I haven't noticed anything on the scale and am having a hard time figuring out if my clothes are fitting much different. Any insight would help!PS I'm getting married in 2 months so i'm highly motivated!! Thanks
Thank so much for contacting us. In your exercise routine, are you doing any strength training? Increasing muscle mass can help to boost your metabolism by adding lean body tissue that burns more calories at rest. How about hydration? Making sure that you are drinking enough water is an important component to make sure that your body's metabolic rate is running efficiently. If you're still stuck, you may want to meet with a registered dietitian. He or she can take a look at the composition of your diet to make sure the total calories as well as the fat/protein/carbohydrate ratio is appropriate to help you meet your goals. Good luck and congratulations on your upcoming wedding!
