Is 178 A High Blood Sugar For A Non-diabetic

i had a gobstopper before this high reading, but recently my sugars after meals have be well over 140 but never over 200. i'm not a diabtic (i don't think) but i think my sugars seem quite high. i'm 14 and 105 bls and 5"4' so im just slightly underweight, and im very active.

Answer

What is your fasting blood sugar? I believe your blood sugar is supposed to be 140 or lower two hours after you eat a meal, but I'm not completely sure about that. If your fasting blood sugar is over 100 you are considered pre-diabetic. I would suggest posting your question on the diabetes section of the web site. Best Wishes, V
