Answer

Joanna,

Welcome to MyMigraineConnection!

Mefanamic acid is categorized as "probably safe" for use by nursing mothers. Please ask your doctor about this to be sure.

Is the toothache caused by the Migraine. That can happen sometimes because the trigeminal nerve becomes inflamed during a Migraine and it's location can make teeth ache. This is something to discuss with your doctor too. If it's a Migraine symptoms, a Migraine abortive medication should take care of that as one of your Migraine symptoms. If it's an actual problem with a tooth, I probably don't need to tell you to see a dentist.

Please keep me posted?

Welcome again,

Teri
