I Have An Increase Of Vaginal Discharge. There Is Not A Change In Color Smell Nor Is There Any Itching Or Burning It Looks Normal But Its A Little More Than Normal. What Is That. I Am Also Stressed

I have an increase of vaginal discharge. There is not a change in color or smell, nor is there any itching or burning. It looks normal, but it's a little more than normal. What is that? I am also stressed. I heard that stress can increase vaginal discharge. Is that true? If I'm standing up for a while, I feel it, but I have not had unprotected sex since early July. I was tested at the end of August, and everything was negative. So I don't know what it is. Is it due to me being stressed? If so, how does stress cause an increase in discharge?

Answer

Hi there

If you have been checked out by your doctor, chances are that this is just a normal fluctuation of discharge. Discharge can increase during certain times of the month. I am not sure that stress has anything to do with it.

The Cleveland Clinic offers information about discharge and what is normal and what is not.

If you still have concerns you can always get a second opinion.
