Can Iron Pills Cause Headaches?

I am currently taking ferrous sulphate to help build up my iron but since taking them I have had a headache?

Welcome to MyMigraineConnection!

Headache isn't listed as a side effect of that supplement, but that doesn't mean that it can't happen. For some people, it could even be a filler or dye that's used in making it that can cause a headache. If your doctor told you to take this supplement, check with your doctor. Of course, the best way to find out if it's the supplement would be to stop taking it and see if the headache stops.
