Itch Inner Ears And Throat.

I have been experiencing itchy inner ears for over six months now, and it seems to be getting worse. When I first went to the doctor about it, he kept telling me it was eczema in my ears. He gave me drops, but that only made my ears really painful. I've been back since, and he cant see anything wrong in both my ears, but now im coughing a lot, which seems to make the back of my throat and ears itch every time. I'm also sneezing a lot, particularly after Ive eaten. Does this sound like some kind of allergy, or perhaps food intolerance?

Answer

going_crazy,

I agree that it is important to keep track of the foods you are consuming if you suspect you have a food allergy. I am not a doctor and can't diagnose you over the internet, but I would suggest requesting a full allergy test to see if that reveals anything new. If one doctor isn't able to help you, feel free to seek out others for additional professional evaluations.

I see that it has been a while since you posted, so I wonder if you have found any clues or any relief yet? If you have, please do let us know how you are doing. I'm sure your experience could help others in the community.

Best of luck,

James
