I have had joint pain in my right hand for two weeks. I can't bend my index finger, and the joint looks red and feels swollen. I also can't grasp anything without pain. Should I see my primary care physician or someone else? My other hand also started hurting, and I've been very tired. I feel like I'm moving in slow motion. No injury occured that I am aware of. I also have occasional numbness in my hand and arms.

Answer

Lauren,

I see that it has been a while since you posted, but I wondered if you have found any relief for your joitn pain and fatigue. I am not a doctor and can't diagnose you, but I think you would be just fine visiting your primary care physician first in this circumstance. If you need to see a specialist, you doctor can refer you.

If you did find some answers, please consider returning to the site to let us know how you are doing. I'm sure your experience could be a great help to others!

Best of luck,

James
