Can I Take Kalma Tablets On A Regular Basis

Hi Kim:

I am not a physician but found that Kalma contains the active ingredients in alprazolam, which is a benzodiazepine. In other words, a tranquilizer.

Alprazolam is the generic name for the prescription medication Xanax. You may have heard of Valium or Librium, and this medication works in a similar fashion. You can read more about [alprazolam]( here "Alprazolam") here. This can be obtained by a prescription only. Benzodiazepines can be very addictive, but if they work for you, then follow what your physician recommends. If you trust your doctor, then you should listen to him/her. If you don't, seek a second opinion.

If you are in counseling, great! If not, consider finding a professional in your area who specializes in anxiety/stress management at Psychology Today.

I hope this helps,
