Live Discussion: ADHD and Success at School

by Amanda Page Editor

Paula Gardner has been a school psychologist for more than 20 years at Southern Columbia Area School District in Catawissa, PA. Her experience includes assessing students k-12 for all learning disabilities, gifted and talented, emotional disturbances and ADHD, implementing staff training on ADHD, and working in conjunction with medical doctors in evaluating ADHD.

The fourth expert in HealthCentral’s ADHD Treatment Team Live Discussion series, Gardner answered your questions about how to help an ADHD child improve self-esteem and academic performance at school, as well as what options are available in schools to assist him or her.

The ADHD Treatment Team included four experts who covered different aspects of helping your ADHD child—from how their behavior affects your family to how to ensure that they succeed at school.
