Can Lumbar Spondylosis Cause Knee And Leg Pain?

Answer

The lumbar spine can be the "root" of pain in the buttocks, knee, calf, or foot. Usually the pain is referred from the joints or ligaments in and around the spine. Sometimes the pain is related to nerve irritation or "Sciatica".

However, leg pain can be caused by other things like blood circulation problems, arthritis in the knee joint or hip joint, injury to the joint, or muscle strain. A doctor will be able to determine the actual root of your problem after a examination.
