Migranes With Aura, New Constant Heart Palpitations

I'm a 21-year-old female and I've had occasional migranes with aura (a couple each year) for the past four ears. I get the whole flashing zig zag lines that I can't see through. Sometimes I see the aura without getting a migrane. Recently, I've been having migranes that start in my neck and move up the back of my head all the way to my forehead. Even more recently, for the past month and a half, I've been having heart palpitations where it feels like my heart is skipping a beat or fluttering hard for a few moments approximately every half an hour. I was wondering if they could be connected? I'm also on the Nuvaring, Apo-pantoparozole for acid reflux, and B12 due to low B12 count. Any help would be appreciated!

I'd love to be able to give you a firm answer, but the only person who can do that is a doctor who can review your and your family's medical history, discuss your symptoms with you, and conduct a complete examination.

If the palpitations were related to your Migraines, we'd expect them to occur only during your Migraines.

So, you really have two reasons to be calling your doctor -- the palpitations and the change in your Migraine pattern that you mentioned.

PLEASE -- don't take chances. Right now, walk away from the computer and call your doctor? Let us know how things go for you too., OK?

Good luck,

Teri
