The Migrating Pain I Get In My Arms, Shoulders, Forearms…
I was diagnosed w/ RA in 2008. I am on methotrexate and plaquinil. I still have joint pain but what is worse is the migrating pain I get in my arms, shoulders, forearms, sometimes the feet, which feels like deep bruising or tendon pain. It can last from 24 hrs to maybe a week and can be debilitating. I never know what will hurt each day and when it moves on, there is no residual pain. The rheumatologist says it’s not RA but never tries to find out what it may be. He told me to take Mobic once a day. Should I see a different kind of doctor for an answer? Does anyone else have these symptoms?? It drains me of all energy not to mention how frustrating it is to have the Dr tell you what it isn’t!
Hi, Cleo. I am not a doctor, so I don’t really know what it could be. But, I have Fibromyalgia in addition to inflammatory arthritis, and the pain you describe sounds a bit like my Fibro pain. There are others on this site who have both RA and Fibro. Maybe they will have some insight. Peace, V
