Hi Kathy,

Although the exact cause (or combination of causes) are not clearly known, I do not believe that you could “get” multiple sclerosis from a spinal epidural. Multiple sclerosis is not a contagious disease. If you are concerned that you may have MS, or are trying to figure out how you developed MS, I would suggest that you talk to your primary care doctor and/or your neurologist.
