My Name Is Mike And I Suffer From Chronic Headaches, Jaw Tension, Stiff Neck, & Tinnitus. Help !
My name is Mike and I suffer from chronic headaches, jaw tension, stiff neck, & tinnitus. I've had doctors tell me my symptoms are from my allergies, migraines, tmj, or dental-alignment related issues, but I can't find anyone willing to help me discover the root of the problem and help me find a resolution.
I've also seen ENT's and have had CT scans, but with no clear answers. I mostly get prescribed many allergy medicines or migraine pills that may somewhat ease the symptoms, but they leave me with other side effects or just plain don't work.
My symptoms manifest themselves as chronic headaches, jaw tension, sinus pressure, stiff neck, and tinnitus. Does anyone have any suggestions on a specialist to see or a treatment direction to take? I would appreciate any advice you can offer me. Thanks.
Hi Mike -
I know this is a very old question, but did you ever find out what was causing all these symptoms? It's hard to tell what could be causing all these issues; fibromyalgia, tension, problems in your cervical spine all come to mind, but I'm only a layperson and couldn't presume to diagnose what's going on. If you did find out what was causing it, perhaps you'd consider coming back and telling us what the diagnosis and treatment were? It might be very useful to someone else in our community going through the same thing.
